Glen Heacock possesses the perfect combination of real-world experience and formal education in both leadership / management as well as technology. It is through experience and education that would enable him to make immediate contributions to any organization.
With over two decades of experience leading people and managing processes, he’s a sought after and versatile leader.
During his 20+ years of service in the USAF, he oversaw day to day operations in an aircraft structural maintenance shop as well as daily operations in a base finance office. He went on to manage a computer network control center and a network operations center (including Help Desk) at the headquarters base for the Air Forces' largest command. In his final military assignment, he was responsible for leading a team of technicians in a network systems flight. This flight was charged with maintaining a classified US government intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance system for unmanned aerial vehicle operations. Throughout his military career, he provided direct leadership and supervisory guidance to multiple work centers, some made up of over 100 personnel.
In the ten years since leaving the USAF, Glen has filled various roles within the Fortune #52 enterprise, Humana Inc. Starting off as a Strategic
Vendor Alliance Manager, he was responsible for the
identification, evaluation and selection of technology related products and
services. He successfully managed highly
complex / highly visible and high dollar valued project, all with competing
deadlines. As the IT Manager over Large and Small Group Commercial Sales development, he ensured the enterprise sales teams had the necessary technology at their finger tips to perform their day to day work. Taking the team from a waterfall to agile development methodology, they were able to satisfy the fluid business needs more efficiently. Glen then moved into an IT Program Manager role over the enterprise Loyalty and Wellness Strategic Initiatives by overseeing system development and improvement efforts of $17M over a three years period. In his latest role as a Technology Service Leader, he provides oversight and guidance to three program managers on different three portfolios with a total investment value of $14M (2016).
In addition to his extensive hands-on
experience, Glen has earned and received a Masters in Management (e-Commerce)
degree, Bachelors of Science (Managerial Studies and Computer Information
Systems) degree and Associates degrees in Information Technology, Finance and Aircraft Structures.
Furthermore, Glen has earned numerous technology related certifications
such as the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Systems
Administrator with Messaging and IT Project+ certifications.
The confidence the US Government had in his personal integrity while on active duty was clearly evident with the award of a Top Secret security clearance. While the clearance is no longer active, Glen still possesses the same moral fiber and follows the same ethical standards.
